#Eurobike2024 Recap: - Despite high hopes for market improvement in the short term, the forecast remains elusive. - #Ebikes sales totaled 800,000 units, a 1.23% decrease from the previous year. #Bicycle sales amounted to 650,000 units, marking a 19% decrease. - The clearance of warehouses is proving more time-consuming than anticipated. Priority is on clearing out existing stock before replenishing and ordering new components. - Over 1,800 exhibitors at the event were met with an exceptionally positive atmosphere. With participants from 60+ countries, the trade show attracted 35,000 industry visitors and over 33,000 bike enthusiasts. Notably, non-European representation surged to 35%, making it the most international event to date. - The #Bicycleindustry now holds a seat at the table within the European Commission, shaping discussions at the highest levels. A mission to help people ride bikes better; more efficient, in better comfort, safer.   GRAVAA's product KAPS, earned global interest in 2023.   When three Jumbo-Visma riders rode KAPS in Paris-Roubaix, the world toughest one day road race. The race had its obstacles, but the team minded it's own business. It went on to win all three Grand Tours of 2023!   Today is April 9, two days after Paris-Roubaix 2024. A race without KAPS, but a future with KAPS.   Mainstream media questioned the absence of KAPS. Global Cycling Network (Warner Bros. Discovery Sports), Outside, Cyclingnews.com, Eurosport, Bicycling Magazine, VRT guessed what happened. Non of them was right, shortly they’ll understand whats going on.   Like Jumbo-Visma in 2023, Gertjan is minding his own business.   GRAVAA is in full swing to achieve it's most significant milestone to date: opening an Eindhoven / in-house based assembly factory.   Supported by previous and new investors that factory enables GRAVAA to scale the production of KAPS. Enabling GRAVAA to help wheel and bike manufacturers around the world improve their already great product with KAPS as an OEM product.    Oh and Visma | Lease a bike?    WielerFlits spoke to their Head of Performance Equipment, who said: "Since last year, we have been fully engaged in fine-tuning the system and collectively generating as much test data as possible on tire pressure. Once that process is definitively completed, we will start using it.
