⚛ We have great news about our longstanding partnership with Q-CTRL! By the end of the year, Q-CTRL’s performance-management software, Fire Opal, will be natively integrated with Rigetti Quantum Cloud Services (QCS®). “As we continue to scale the size of quantum processors along with qubit performance, the combination of Rigetti hardware plus Q-CTRL performance management software can help bring us all one step closer to practical quantum advantage,” said David Rivas, Chief Technology Officer at Rigetti. “This successful integration demonstrates the value of collaboration across the quantum ecosystem and is an exciting outcome of our longtime partnership with Q-CTRL.” This integration is built on nearly five years of collaboration and commercial partnership. Over 100 quantum and finance experts attended the ‘Quantum Meet Finance’ event late last month, delivered by Australia's Chief Scientist Dr Cathy Foley and co-hosted by Sydney Quantum Academy and CSIRO, to discuss the transformative potential of emerging quantum technologies. Among the participants was Rigetti’s Principal, Quantum Finance Applications, David Garvin, who delivered a presentation on the current state of quantum computing applications for finance and how organizations can become quantum ready. 🇮🇹 Rigetti Director of Quantum Engineering, Stefano Poletto, will be delivering a keynote at The Quantum Science, Innovation and Technology workshop (QuaSIT), taking place September 9-13 in Modica (RG), Italy. QuaSIT brings together young scientists and leading experts across quantum technologies to engage in scientific discussions, and lay the groundwork for the success of the next generation of Italian quantum researchers. Stefano’s keynote, “Tunable coupler architectures for superconducting quantum processors”, will be held on September 11, and he’ll also be participating in a roundtable discussion on "Quantum Technologies for Companies: Challenges and Opportunities" being held on September 13.
