Another success story for Hi-Core® of Injection Alloys Our high-performance cored wires with welded sheath Hi-Core® have been approved after a couple of months of industrial trials at another customer! Our pure Calcium wire Hi-Cal® generates more than 30% savings on the Calcium treatment cost against conventional CaSi cored wires. It performed also much better against other solid Calcium wires with folded sheath – the latter can hardly be used at this customer because of the high splashing (with comparable of higher level of savings). The level of savings with Hi-Cal® was lower than with CaSi wire! Hi-CaSi® and Hi-CaFe® produce similar results    We expect the results of the inclusions modification analysis, but there are no doubts about the results – the use of Hi-Core® welded sheath wires helps to produce cleaner steels - with fewer inclusions of smaller size.   Excellent performance of the European Injection Alloys team, congrats!
