The proposed Custom House Street project is being developed by Watkin Jones, the UK’s leading developer and manager of residential properties for rent. Sama Investment Group is excited to announce that construction of its multi-million-pound Canalside residential scheme in Birmingham’s Digbeth Quarter will commence in the first quarter of 2025 – with 85 apartments now for sale. Consilium is helping to breathe a new lease of life into Grade II-listed engine sheds at Ashford's Newtown railway works as part of a £250m redevelopment. Quinn Estates says “utmost care is being taken” to preserve original materials, which has seen 50,000 bricks “removed and preserved”. The work is part of an ambitious scheme to transform the 12-acre site into four film studios and more than 300 homes. Once a proud home to the manufacture of Victorian Britain’s train carriages, the derelict Newtown Works is one of the UK’s longest-listed buildings. Working closely with Historic England, the developers have gained permission to remove the roofs of the 350-metre-long locomotive sheds, allowing the structure to return to its former glory. Bridges between spaces and across a central landscaped street will connect the 303 Residential apartments. Post and Pre-Production studios as well as Educational offices and workspaces will also inhabit the currently redundant sheds.

Located on busy Voortrekker Road, this mixed-use asset is well located.

#SheppardRobson's plans for a 44-storey residential tower have been submitted to Manchester City Council. Local developer Glenbrook is behind the 2-4 #WhitworthStreet scheme, which would provide 364 homes and 7,800 sq ft of commercial space.
