Our hydroelectric network in Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean in Quebec, Canada, does more than just power our operations – it drives the production of some of the world’s lowest-carbon aluminium. Our Power Operations (or Énergie Électrique) team works to ensure that even the most intense challenges – like lightning strikes or equipment breakdown – don’t disrupt our regional aluminium operations. Their commitment to continuous improvement and rigorous teamwork have led to a major milestone: 10 years without a network blackout. #FindingBetterWays

That's like keeping a ship steady through a decade-long storm. Hats off to the team for their dedication and teamwork.
