Artificial intelligence and transportation edge computing company Netradyne announced the closure this month of its Series D funding round, netting $90 million to accelerate the company’s growth. The round was led by Point72 Private Investments, an existing investor who previously contributed to Netradyne’s $150 million Series C funding round in 2021. Qualcomm Ventures and Pavilion Capital also contributed to the round. According to Netradyne, the funding will be used to support the company’s existing research and development efforts, innovate its AI technology, invest in sales and marketing and expand into global markets like South America and the Middle East. “That was kind of the push to get this round,” said Netradyne President Adam Kahn. “And of course we have existing investors that are coming back in, that’s a great validation of what we’re doing.” --- One of my latest for the San Diego Business Journal, link in the comments 👇
