It pays off to invest in real estate in areas with strong STEM job growth. Tech job growth drives significant real estate price appreciation in cities like Sacramento, Dallas, Raleigh and Charleston due to increased household incomes and office employment. Historical data shows a strong correlation between tech employment and home values. Cities with high-tech job growth over the last five years, particularly Charleston and Raleigh, are seeing continued demand. I'm curious about what plans these cities have in place for handling increased infrastructure needs. It seems to be the major downside of living in most tech hubs that the housing market becomes incredibly expensive due to poor infrastructure and NIMBYism, like in San Francisco. #realestategrowth #proptech #stem #nimby #dallas #sacramento #raleigh #charleston
