This woman right here has forced me to be incredibly reflective for the past week.
Heather Williams flew in for the book launch party (FOR THE DAY!) last week because she knew how much work had gone into it over the past few years. She took a super early flight and a late flight so she could still get her work done and see her extended family as well.
(I was moved by everyone who made it and those who couldn’t come, but provided encouragement.)
Heather always shows up for people in her life. Her family, friends, employees.
And while I could focus on who doesn’t show up sometimes, the better question I’ve been reflecting on is, “How am I showing up for others?”
Because the truth is, I haven’t shown up for others all the time.
We sometimes focus on those who don’t buy, don’t show up, and then don’t turn the mirror around and look at ourselves.
So this is what I’ve been thinking about.
As we move into Q4 and plan 2025, a great question is, “How can I show up for others?”
