In designing Iceberg, we have always had one key tenant in mind - many customers want to use Snowflake *and* other platforms and they want everything to "just work". I often tell sales teams on calls to put on their earmuffs when I say this: It's easy to live in a world where we assume that any one platform can solve 100% of customers' problems, but the reality is much more complicated. It's unlikely one platform will be the end-all be-all to any one large customer. So, the challenge for us is not "how can we convince you" but rather "how can we help you make everything work together?" If you're going to Summit, I'd encourage you to check out this session, because it brings the tenant above to life. A major part of bringing Iceberg support to Snowflake is to "make everything just work" so you spend less time fighting platforms to work together. This is why we chose Iceberg in the first place - it was (and is) the best technology to tie multiple engines together.

Snowflake should at least tell us what bugs they are fixing and what features they are working on in snowflake managed Polaris. It will helps us to prepare .. For example: add_files, register_table procedure are not working. I know snowflake team is working on it but no info to community. Some of these features essential to move on from PoC to prod.
