Great interview by Blockworks with Tyrone Lobban highlighting an institutional viewpoint toward tokenized assets. Some key highlights: 1️⃣ Tokenized assets are the killer use case of blockchains for traditional finance. 2️⃣ Permissioned blockchains offer robust scalability and privacy that aren't available on public blockchains and are the choice, at least for now, for large scale traditional financial service use. 3️⃣ Tokenized deposits will likely be a significantly larger market than stablecoins due to superior capabilities in areas such as credit creation. 4️⃣ Tokenized assets unlock new financial products such as intraday-repos that were previously impractical. Power is rarely smoothly transitioned when tech bypasses institutions. Bureaucracy in a feature, not bug, for preserving structures. Crypto not only threatens finance, and ownership, but capital formation in current state. As generative it cannabalizes the current to unlock the future. We're playing for magnitudes of order beyond ETF, IPO, etc. The FUD is an autoimmune response to tokens as oligarchy busters.

Ahead of the #Ethereum #ETF decision, the market saw a positive shift. An on-chain analytic firm reported that a whale, likely Abraxas Capital, withdrew 60,000 ETH ($206.3 million) from Bitfinex, at an average price of $3,387 per ETH. The trading volume increased by 45%, and open interest rose by 2.6%, reflecting growing investor confidence.
