Small and local nonprofits face unique challenges, including limited resources and funding, which restrict their ability to hire staff, invest in technology, and expand programs. They often struggle with visibility and competition from larger organizations, making it difficult to attract and retain donors. Additionally, these nonprofits may face donor fatigue in their communities, challenges in complying with regulatory requirements, and difficulties in managing volunteers. Despite their deep local impact, these constraints can hinder their growth and long-term sustainability.
