Founder at RevGenius | Helping Creative SaaS Startup Founders leverage Audience-Led Growth to scale faster
Clay’s launching a hackathon at INBOUND, and it’s genius Hackathons are the perfect community-led growth events 1. Gets power product users building dope shit in your product for a carrot of sorts (money and/or fame work well) and 2. Gets these folks sharing their creations with the world and clay sharing on their behalf which 3. Creates buzz and Acquires new users who see how dope a product this is / activates folks that are free users that didn’t really start using it and ramps up engagement of current users that needed some help. 4. Which in turn amps up more people to build cool shit and prep for the next one / get involved in the ecosystem etc Community-led growth FTW Excited to interview their co founder Varun at RevCon. Time for my walk. 🚶

#Hackathons are the best way to crowdsource the most radical, crazy & fun bets for Founders to expand their businesses and grow, just like how it helped Zepto. So what are you waiting for? Launch one on Unstop either for internal employees or to get ideas from the best minds across the Globe 🌍 The future of your business could be one idea away—are you ready to discover it? 🔍💡 #Innovation #BusinessGrowth #EmployeeEngagement #GrowthHacks
We’re kickstarting the 3rd internal hackathon at Zepto today. Some of our most radical, crazy, and fun bets have come from hackathons in the past. It’s helped Zeptonians reimagine some archaic principles, learn, network and build interesting features. Big thanks to Garv Malik, who agreed to kickstart the event with a comedy roast. I was spared, luckily :) Updates around interesting things we built will come soon. Watch this space.

✨ Back on the briefcase app and sharing good news ✨ I'm taking the virtual stage at CMX Global tomorrow and am excited to talk about community things with my community friends. Let's be real, direct feedback from your power users and ensuring internal teams feel prepared requires alignment and coordination. It certainly has its challenges, but it isn't impossible. Don't worry, friend. I've got you covered. I'm a fan of keeping things light and fun. I'll share how I prioritize that for ambassadors and stakeholders, as well as valuable tips I've learned by aligning myself with colleagues across cross-functional teams and passionate community members. By establishing a simple, collaborative system, you can achieve a win-win scenario where internal goals and community aspirations are met, ultimately delivering an exceptional experience for the community. See you tomorrow! ✌ What: From Fans to Champions: Building a Shared Vision Between Internal Stakeholders and Community Ambassadors When: 1:30 PM ET Where: https://lnkd.in/guFQVvBh

CarneyCon 2024 We've been stuck alone behind our computers for too long. URL life took a front seat to IRL. But we made a last minute decision and constructed a hackathon with a bit of staycation. Magic happened as we launched our new onboarding process. Here's why you too should have an AirBNB style hackathon. 1. Focused A bit of face to face discourse and creativity to make it right helped us get to work faster. Nobody left their seats until the dinner bell rang. 2. Fun The celebration of a completed project was better together than it was alone. we actually felt the accomplishment of everyone's contributions and toasted with Tres Commas. IYKYK. This was the first time we've done this and hoping for more this year... too much to ask for quarterly? How do you host your hackathons? Pizza involved?

Flashback to the coolest Hackathon Competition I’ve ever been a part of! It was so great building my team and creating lasting connections with people I had never met in person, we spread across Texas, Illinois, California, Mexico and Guatemala! The main goal was to create a cross-site team and create solutions that we can replicate all over the continent and beyond! We named our team the “Copy Cats” because our job was to 'copy ideas', customize then 'paste them' - saving everyone development time and making huge monetary business impacts on the way! I don’t want to brag, but we were one of the winning teams at the end of it! It was so fun watching them open up and become more willing to bring fun into the business world. We still keep in touch, and if it was up to me I would make every Hackathon like this where you have to make a team from people from multiple locations. That has got to be one of the best ways to network. These photos were part of the competition as well, we had to send pictures of our team as part of the storytelling element, and I’m sure you can tell I had way too much fun with the Copy Cats theme!
