🏈 This past Saturday, our Athletic Trainers were front and center at the Bay Rivers District Football Jamboree at Bailey Field! These photos capture the energy and excitement, featuring some of our amazing middle and high school Athletic Trainers (AT’s) who were on-site to support the middle school teams from Williamsburg James City County and York County. We're proud to have our AT’s ensuring the safety and well-being of these young athletes as they played their hearts out on the field. 💪

This should be an awkward exit interview.
Six days ago, Long Beach State announced it was firing head coach Dan Monson after 17 years. However, the school decided to allow him to coach out the Big West Tournament. So, he just led LBSU to the Big West title—and the school’s first NCAA Tournament berth in over a decade.

Focus on the present! It’s not the destination, it’s the journey to get where you want, that’s what truly matters.
Kenny Trevino joined the San Antonio Spurs as a ball boy in 2012. He's worked his way up through the organization for over a decade, now the team's Head Video Coordinator. Next week, the 31-year-old will serve as the Spurs Summer League head coach. “My goal is to become a head coach someday… all I’m worried about now is being the best video coordinator.” #TheComeUp

Yesterday was an awesome reminder of why I love coaching flag football in the community. We had our first NFL Flag session with 24 enthusiastic students, and their excitement and energy on the field were truly inspiring. This fast-paced, non-contact version of American football is a big hit, and it’s clear the kids are loving it! Highlights from our session: Inclusivity: Students of all skill levels and backgrounds had a blast learning and playing together. Safety: The non-contact nature of flag football ensured everyone could participate safely. Learning a New Sport: The kids were excited to learn and engage with a new sport, picking up the basics of American football quickly. Community Building: An opportunity for students to work together with clear concise communication and to deal with difficult problem solving in a team environment Why NFL Flag? ✅ Inclusive for All: Suitable for students of all skill levels and backgrounds. ✅ Safety First: Enjoy the excitement of football without the physical contact. ✅ Skill Development: Enhances agility, coordination, and quick decision-making. ✅ Community Building: Strengthens school spirit and fosters a sense of community. Join the Movement: I encourage other schools and teachers to get involved in this fantastic program. Bringing NFL Flag to your school is easy and incredibly rewarding. Visit https://lnkd.in/gsd4k45p for more details on how to start. Get in Touch: Interested in learning more or have questions? Let’s connect and discuss how we can bring NFL Flag football to your school. Feel free to reach out! #NFLFlag #FlagFootball #YouthSports #PerthSchools #SportsDevelopment #Teamwork #InclusiveSports

An absolute pleasure. The conversion was rich in solutions rather than a perspective of reactions. Often we look to mitigate the impact of society on our young people. Rather than looking to remove any barriers that they may face. It was great to get back to the core, with a group of individuals who which to use sport, not only as a mechanism for a professional avenue, but more to draw away the skills that sport teaches us. Having played full time football and part time in non-league. Even being lucky enough to move onto the Conference. All whilst running a business. Sport has taught me the following: - hard work is not negotiable, - just because you like something it doesn’t make the grind any easier, - resilience is a must in any walk of life, - team work is essential to build morale and culture, - you must be willing to pick others up around you where they need a helping hand. These are the same principles that I have applied to life and here at Bouncing Statistics whilst I wish for young people to learn these vital skills and values also.
Brilliant meeting Rackeem Reid yesterday discussing all things young people, the challenges they face and the power that sport has to level the playing field, and to hear about their brilliant work Bouncing Statistics. Really thought-provoking conversation about being evidence-based in our approach and authentic in our direction as we look to put plans in place for our upcoming football and education programme Birmingham United for the 24/25 season. Looking forward to working together to positively impact the lives of young people in our city.

As the 150th Kentucky Derby quickly approaches, how do you plan to celebrate the Run for the Roses 🐎 🌹 without putting your recovery, or the recovery of a loved on, at risk? Here are a few tips ⬇️ 1. Plan ahead. 2. Avoid being alone. 3. Spend quality time with a group of sober friends. 4. Host your own Derby party. 5. Get crafty and enjoy a Derby mocktail. 6. Make short appearances and drive yourself. 7. Keep it simple and don’t stress too much about what everyone else is doing.

Absolutely 1st class in how you can support a player through school, sport and life. Using transferable skills learned in the academy to build a brand and business for life after academy football and then using that life experience already to support younger players. Gary Warren Ross County Football Club more than just a football club, character development. 👏👏👏👏👏👏
🦌 We sat down with our Academy Manager Gary Warren and former Academy player Fergus Adams to discuss Fergus' new business and how important the pathway after leaving academy football is.
