Meet Bharti – The newest addition to the WeClean Pressing Squad! (And why her story matters for the future of the laundry industry) In an industry dominated by men, where the ratio is 40:1 in favor of male pressers/ironers, Bharti has broken through barriers and joined the WeClean team. 💡 When we launched our in-house training program, the mission was simple: Empower women to take on roles traditionally reserved for men in our field. Madhuri seized the opportunity and became one of the newest skilled members of our team. Her journey is an inspiring reminder of the untapped talent that's all around us. At WeClean, we believe that diversity in the workforce doesn’t just solve staffing shortages—it also drives innovation and success. Welcome Bharti! You’re paving the way for more women to follow. If your industry faces similar gender imbalances, how are you working to bring about change? Let’s start the conversation. P.S. Empowering women isn’t just good for business. It’s good for the future. ♻️ Repost to support more women entering male-dominated industries! #entrepreneurship #motivation #equality #equalpay #equaloppurtunity #women #founders

When it comes to women in the EV industry, we can't speak highly enough of their contributions and the leading roles they've played in overcoming longstanding stereotypes in the #automotive sector. Whether juggling parenthood, writing a book, getting on stage, growing a startup, climbing the career ladder, or mentoring industry peers, women have excelled and outshined in every field. Despite their achievements, they continue to face biases and discrimination. Recognizing their crucial role in establishing and holistically growing the EV landscape, Glida India has launched an initiative under the mentorship of our Executive Director Awadhesh Kumar Jha, who is passionate about fostering #inclusivegrowth in the EV industry. The program, called 'Connect & Empower,' lives up to its name by empowering women to explore #newpossibilities, succeed through mutual support, access diverse perspectives, and lead through #collaboration. No special days to celebrate women, no flowers or gourmet chocolates—just ongoing collaboration and co-creation year-round. If you share this sentiment, we’d love to invite you to join our program and be part of a growing movement of women helping each other succeed.

At BLR Logistiks, we believe true progress happens when opportunities are made accessible to everyone. Our first cohort of five exceptional women mastered trailer driving and joined BLR’s fleet—proving that with the right support and skill-building, gender barriers can be dismantled with our #DriveHer initiative. It is with immense pride that we can today recognize Mrs. Seema Yadav on winning the Best Truck Driver (Female) Award at the Smart Driver Awards 2025! For us, the #DriveHer initiative marked an important milestone in our broader ESG journey, where inclusion and sustainable growth could go hand in hand. By addressing workforce challenges and championing women’s potential, we played a key role in shaping a diverse, future-forward logistics sector. The #DriveHer initiative and it's success has emboldened our spirit to carry on our journey towards equal workspaces in the future, and while active drivers have moved on to other roles since, we are glad we could create the opportunity for women in the workforce! #womendrivers #womeninworkforce #breakingbarriers #genderequality #sustainablegrowth #inclusionmatters #ESGLeadership #Trailblazers #womenempowerment #successstories #DriveHerInitiative #BLRLogistiks

Women's History Month may be over, but the conversation about the ongoing challenges women face — especially in major industries like #automotive — is just getting started. Did you know that women made up only 24% of auto manufacturing workers as of 2020 and remain underrepresented across the industry? The disparity highlights an urgent need for change to position the industry for success, particularly as the shift towards #EVs calls for workforce expansion. As Allison Grealis, founder and president of the Women in Manufacturing Association, aptly puts it, "People don’t stay at organizations where they don’t see themselves." A lack of diversity among leadership can leave employees feeling uncertain about their future. A massive thank you to Allison Grealis, Jody Stidham, Joanna C. Cooper and Anthony Allen for sharing their invaluable insights on paving the way for greater #genderdiversity and #inclusion in the automotive sector. An important topic that weighs heavy on me - equity and inclusion. Having spent 30 years in Automotive, I am passionate about creating more opportunities for greater diversity and inclusion. The stats speak for themselves. Deloitte research shows that organizations with inclusive cultures are 2x as likely to meet or exceed financial targets, 3x as likely to be high-performing, and 8x as likely to achieve better business outcomes. Big THANK YOU to Automotive Dive Megan Ruggles for speaking with me about why improving #diversity and creating opportunities for #womeninautomotive is as important as ever.
