1TOEA TINGTING This is a free advice to Marape - Rosso Government. Starting January 2025, summon NRI to send out open invitation to all PNG Nationals working within and abroad to submit at least one proposal on how to develop PNG in all sectors. This will be an invitation to provide free advice to see who is the genuine PNGean who has the heart for our country. NRI can sort the proposals according to each Ministry/Department. Invite the specialists to do presentation on how we can support PNG to move forward with sound and practical advice that can be aligned to policies for implementation. Why I am saying this because most of the NEC appointments on all government departments and organizations are not based on merits. Even if they have the merits, they may not have the practical experience. The proposals from specialists is to provide insights on how things can be done better. This is another way to cut the costs of expensive consultants and advisors and get the public servants to work. .................................................................

A different lesson. Today with PU3 and SM2 students from Polis University we held a conference with several speakers with long experience in different fields. The aim of this approach was that beyond any specific academic knowledge, it is to learn how to learn and practice. This includes developing the ability to research, analyze, synthesize information and think critically from one presentation to another. On the other hand, we also promote adaptability, time management and self-discipline as well as the skills to adapt to work environments and organizational behavior in various organizations in public life. The interactive conversation focused, among other things, on Local Government functioning and its role in: 1-Planning and environmental protection. Foles-Luan Dervishej Development and Management Consultant 3- Financial resources and grants, practices from Southeast Europe Speaker - Elton Stafa, Nalas Project Manager 4-Inclusion of civil society organizations in assistance and development programs. Agron Haxhimali But of particular importance was the use of the bookstore of the Institute for Municipalities of Albania, by the students, who received different publications for use as literature on the subjects of planning, environment, public administration, etc.

🤝🌍 Signed MoU with the Greek National Center for Public Administration and Local Government (EKDDA): A new chapter in strengthening cooperation and deepening ties between #WesternBalkans and #Greece public administration teams, supporting enhanced administrative capabilities!   💡 The cooperation will be operationalized with a working visit in autumn of public servants from the region to Athens on “Digital infrastructure and services,” while Greek lecturers will provide their expertise in specific ReSPA training.   💬 Maja Handjiska Trendafilova: This MoU is an important step forward in our partnership with EKDDA. Day 2 at the International conference of the National Institute of Town Planners (NITP) In Enugu 2024. The theme for this year is "The Nigerian Urban and Regional Planning Law and challenge of National Development". This beams a focused light on the need for robust and pragmatic Policy , legal and institutional framework directed towards achieving sustainable, liveable, smart and resilient cities, and rural communities. It further emphasizes the need for a new robust legal framework designed with indicators. These indicators will facilitate the development of a thorough system that enables checks and balances. It calls for a reform and review of existing Laws streamlined into realistic and people centered driven cutting across all sectors including energy, housing, transportation, water resources, industry, agriculture and the agro based industry, environmental social governance. These laws when astutely streamlined, will help in achieving the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SGDs) and The New Urban Agenda that was adopted at the Habitat III conference in Quito, Ecuador, on October 20, 2016. It aims to promote sustainable urban development globally, addressing challenges like pollution, inequality and inadequate infrastructure.
