I'm excited to share the publication of this new Lincoln Institute of Land Policy Policy Download where I share some thoughts on climate finance, and the opportunities presented by the USEPAs Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund for deeper, smarter investment toward our national and global climate goals. The piece discusses ways to leverage state and local development, housing and infrastructure finance, opportunities to get started in building project pipeline, and land based climate finance strategy that can compliment #GGRF funding. I also offer some thoughts on how to pursue a needed two-prong strategy on climate finance: - using this moment to continue advocacy for the sorely needed additional public and private investment needed to meet our the challenge of our climate crisis. - meeting the singular #GGRF opportunity, helping places put together stronger, more impactful applications for these funds that will let applicants and their communities see significant progress towards climate goals. Please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions! #climatefinance #greenhousegasreductionfund #communityinvestment #impactinvesting #catalyticcapital

In our new Policy Download, Senior Fellow RJ McGrail outlines how communities, investors, and policymakers can and should build on private capital alongside the Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund’s historic initial public investment to facilitate progress toward climate goals.
