Out with the old, in with the new. Thank you to the city of Lafayette for switching out to a low maintenance TL-2 attenuator from Hill & Smith Inc. This unit kept getting impacted and was costing thousands of dollars in materials and labor each collision. The new unit we provided can be fully reset and used countless times. Under standard collisions, the cost to reset is less than $20 in materials and a few hours of labor. Thank you to the leadership of Rick Smith and his Lafayette RoadSafe team for the install and the Lafayette public works team, including Nick Standerfer, for coming out and observing the install. #roadsafe #crashcusion #impactattenuator #savinglives
