EXPERIENCED HANDYMAN / STATIONARY ENGINEER / MARITIME (1ST MATE)

FIXING THINGS IN YOUR HOME OR APARTMENT RATHER THAN BEING BILLED BY THE REPAIRMAN REALLY MATTERS THESE DAYS. THIS REFRIGERATOR HAD THE WOODEN OUTSIDE DECORATIVE PANEL FALL OFF. THE WEIGHT OF THE WOODEN PANEL WAS AROUND (8) POUNDS. USUALLY, YOU WOULD HAVE TO REMOVE THE DOOR, REMOVE THE OLD ADHESIVE, THEN USE "C CLAMPS" TO HOLD THE PANEL IN PLACE FOR AT LEAST A DAY BEFORE REATTACHING THE DOOR. WHICH MEANS YOU WOULD HAVE TO REMOVE ALL OF THE FOOD FROM THE UNIT. POSSIBLY LOSING THAT FOOD DUE TO SPOILAGE. THIS PANEL, AFTER NEW ADHESIVE WAS APPLIED, AND THE OLD ADHESIVE WAS REMOVED, WAS HELD IN PLACE UNTIL THE ADHESIVE BEGAN TO CURE (2 HOURS IN) BY SCOTCH 3M SHIPPING TAPE. A REPAIR JOB COMPLETED WITH ITEMS COSTING LESS THAN $14.00 (SHIPPING TAPE $6.00, WOOD GLUE $4.00, SUPER GLUE $3.50 (MENARDS @ CICERO AVE. / ROUTE 50 SOUTH OF LINCOLN HIGHWAY / 211TH ST. / ROUTE 30). NOW, IF YOU HAD A HVAC TECHNICIAN DO THIS JOB, HOW MANY COINS WOULD YOU BE OUT OF 🤔💳💸💶💵💴🪙💰 https://lnkd.in/gQedWDGc
