🌟 Let’s talk about something we’ve all heard or said as educators: “In a minute,” “Just wait,” “When I finish this.” 🤔 It’s easy to forget that our children have their own sense of urgency and importance, even if we don’t always see it that way. Remember, what might seem trivial to us could mean the world to them. Let’s strive to be more mindful of their needs and time, just as we expect them to be of ours. 💖 #EducatorPerspective #childrenMatter #EmpathyInTeaching 🌱

I support discerning early years providers, often with EYFS software (made within award-winning outstanding settings) that eases concerns, aids parents and staff, cuts costs, and effectively benefits each child.
In this video, I delve into the significance of adopting a child-centred approach to learning. For me and my settings, this approach means recognising and valuing the individuality of each child, catering to their specific needs, interests, and abilities. It entails creating a nurturing environment where children feel supported and included, empowering them to explore and learn at their own pace. Collaboration among educators, parents, and children is vital. 👉🏽 What are your views on this? #educationaljourney https://lnkd.in/eewfMVHJ

7moSuch a poignant subject and one that had an impact, It was my first position in ECEC almost 30 years ago, and a young 3 year old came up and tapped my leg saying ‘Miss Jen, I have a secret’. I shudder to think the different outcome had I said ‘hang on a minute’.. App children’s voices need to be heard.
