‘Affari & Finanza’, the supplement of the daily newspaper Repubblica dedicated to Economics and Finance and the first economic weekly in Italy, published a study done by the German Institute for Quality and Finance (ITQF) in which the Elemaster Group has being recognised as the 1st place company in the electronics industry for its focus on ESG aspects (Environmental, Social, Governance). Also, in the overall ranking, which includes all other companies from different sectors, Elemaster was awarded 43rd place with a score of 79.98/100. November has opened the door to more actionable conversations about innovation. I had the honour to participate in the roundtable event led by the panel "Innovation made in Latam for Germany" organised by YAKU PARTNERS, with the occasion of the celebration of the Lateinamerika Tag 2024. Roundtable events have the unique quality to foster progress by openly exposing perspectives and questioning the status quo. It was great to learn from the activities lead by Waldo Soto Bruna and Murilo Johas Menezes where they enable innovation on the circular economy and resilience space. Latin America has all the potential to be a place for reciprocal exchange of knowledge, talent and innovation. With Matthias Notz we learned that Start2 Group seek to strengthen collaboration between the two regions. Agri-food technology, solutions for rural development, biotechnology or climate resilience are among the areas where Latin America can bring high value to the German and European markets, where underinnovated sectors could obtain the biggest advantage. I look forward to continue the discussions and be part of the progress where Germany and Europe open the arms to Latin American innovation as well as it is happening the other way around. The Enlit Europe trade mission in Milan highlighted Dutch innovation on the global stage with the Netherlands Pavilion, which was hosted by InnovationQuarter in collaboration with Amsterdam Trade & Innovate, Rotterdam Partners, ROM Utrecht Region, and Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO), showcasing the country’s leadership in smart energy solutions.   As part of this, I created a #marketingcommunicationstrategy for the organizing parties, which included a successful LinkedIn post series and a social media toolkit with pre-scheduled content for before, during, and after the event. Additionally, I documented the week on camera to showcase the impactful work of the RDA International Trade teams. The European Commission published the results of the European Innovation Scoreboard (EIS) for 2024, which assesses the innovation performance of EU Member States and 12 neighbouring countries. The Scoreboard tracks 32 indicators over the past 8 years to understand their framework conditions, investments, innovation activities and impact. 📈💡 Switzerland stands out as an innovation leader, once again securing the top spot, followed by Denmark and Sweden!
