Robertet USA is proud to celebrate diversity, inclusion and equality for all. June Pride Month is an opportunity to recognize and support the LGBTQIA+ community's contributions and to reaffirm our commitment to creating a working environment where everyone feels respected, valued and free to be themselves. To reinforce this culture of inclusion, the US HR team has conducted training and information sessions. These initiatives include workshops on the use of appropriate pronouns and guidelines for appropriate behavior. At Robertet, we firmly believe that diversity enriches our company and stimulates innovation. Together, let's make our company a place where respect, diversity and acceptance thrive. Brenda L. 🌈 Why Stop Now? The Power of Sustaining Inclusion Beyond Pride Month 🏳️🌈 As we approach the end of Pride Month, it's critical to ask: What happens on July 1st? While June is a month filled with celebration and visibility for the LGBTQ+ community, true allies understand that the quest for inclusion and equality must continue year-round. 🔄 In today's post, part of my ongoing series for Pride Month, I explore the role of regular diversity audits as a tool for sustaining inclusion. Regular audits are not just a formality; they are a crucial mechanism for keeping our commitments to diversity and inclusion in check. By systematically assessing workplace policies, practices, and culture, we gain invaluable insights into where we stand and what needs to change. 🔍 Tip: Start by ensuring your diversity audits look beyond numbers. Include qualitative measures such as employee sentiment and the effectiveness of inclusion training programs. 👣 Try This: Implement a semi-annual diversity audit. Use the findings to set specific, measurable goals for improvement, ensuring that every level of your organization is accountable. Call to Action: Let’s not let our efforts be confined to just one month. Commit to embedding inclusion into the very DNA of our organizations. What will you do in your workplace to ensure that the spirit of Pride Month is alive all year round? #DiversityAndInclusion #PrideMonth2024 #EqualityForAll #InclusiveLeadership #ContinuousImprovement

Veronica M Calderon, Chief Inclusion, Belonging and Equity Officer at DeVry University, highlights the proven business case for sustained DEI efforts in the workplace. Forward-thinking organizations recognize that fostering a culture of belonging, where every employee can bring their whole self to work, is essential for success. LGBTQIA+ individuals bring immense value to the workplace, yet many still face unaccepting environments. Studies show that 26% of LGBTQ+ workers and 36% of transgender and nonbinary workers have searched for new jobs due to discrimination. Real inclusion means implementing meaningful policies, offering tailored benefits, and fostering continuous learning and open dialogue. What is an inclusive culture in the workplace? It might mean something different to everyone, but at the heart of the matter is this: If a business doesn’t vocalise its stance on matters of equality and diversity, then how do people know that they will be welcomed, empowered and proud in their place of work? We’ve done a lot of work at Fluid in the past 18 months to externalise what equality and diversity in the workplace means to us, and part of that has been to: - Create an equality agreement that all new team members have to sign. - Fine-tune our onboarding process to ensure everyone feels welcome and comfortable to be themselves. - Assemble an EDI panel made up of 15 team members that continue to help shape our commitment to inclusion at Fluid. Shelly and Ellie have a frank conversation about inclusion, and Ellie draws upon her own personal experiences as a member of the LGBTQ+ community, and how inclusive employers have impacted her career.

As Global Inclusion Week unfolds, I am reminded of the incredible power of diversity and the profound impact it has on our communities and workplaces. I am passionate about building an environment where everyone feels valued and respected, embracing all backgrounds, identities, and experiences. This commitment is especially significant as we also celebrate Pride Month, a time to honor the LGBTQ+ community and acknowledge the ongoing journey toward equality and acceptance. Pride Month is a powerful reminder that inclusivity is not just about recognizing differences but about celebrating them and ensuring everyone has a seat at the table. Inclusion is more than a policy or a program—it's a mindset that we must nurture every day. It's about creating spaces where diverse perspectives are not only welcomed but are integral to our collective success. I encourage everyone to take a moment this week to reflect on how we can all contribute to a more inclusive world. Let’s continue to support one another and champion diversity in all its forms. Here's to a week of learning, growing, and embracing the beauty of our differences. Happy Inclusion Week and Pride Month! 🌈 #GlobalInclusionWeek #PrideMonth #Diversity #Inclusion #Belonging

🌈 Celebrating Pride Month: Embracing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Pride Month is a time of celebration, reflection, and commitment to the principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion. It marks a pivotal moment in history when the LGBTQ+ community bravely stood up for their rights and dignity during the Stonewall Riots in June 1969. This act of courage ignited a global movement advocating for equality and acceptance, inspiring millions to embrace their true selves. The history of Pride is rooted in a struggle for recognition and respect. From the early days of activism to the vibrant parades and events we see today, Pride Month honors the journey toward acceptance and love. It’s a reminder of the progress we’ve made and the work that still lies ahead in ensuring that everyone, regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity, can live openly and authentically. At its core, celebrating Pride is about fairness and doing what’s right. Embracing diversity, equity, and inclusion means recognizing the inherent value in every individual and creating an environment where everyone can thrive. In the workplace, this translates to fostering a culture of respect and belonging, where differences are not just tolerated but celebrated. As we commemorate Pride Month, let’s reaffirm our commitment to these values. Let’s listen to the voices of the LGBTQ+ community, educate ourselves on their experiences, and stand in solidarity with them. Whether through inclusive policies, supportive networks, or simply by being allies in everyday interactions, we each have a role to play in building a more equitable society. Diversity, equity, and inclusion are not just corporate buzzwords; they are the foundations of a just and compassionate world. By embracing these principles, we honor the legacy of those who fought for our rights and pave the way for future generations to live with pride and dignity.
