Global Lead - Strategic Sustainability Advice

🌿 Nature is a key stakeholder in the development of #infrastructure and #realestate. Big corporations are already integrating nature into their business decisions, but for small and medium enterprises #SMEs, it can be a challenge to navigate all the new regulations and requirements.🌱 The good news is that help is at hand! Over the last few months, myself and a handful of expert colleagues from peer consultancies have been working with the Environmental Industries Commission (EIC) to produce the #NatureGuide: it supports non-nature professionals to make informed decisions regarding #natureanddevelopment.🌳 Learning the new #policy landscape can be daunting, but with this guide to hand, avenues to embed nature and biodiversity roll clearly into view. 🍃 Nature must be seen as the enabler and opportunity partner for project success. A scheme can really benefit from nature and biodiversity – better health of users and better resilience to climate impacts, to name just a couple.🌼 The way we build has changed, and nature is at the table with the planning and design team now. Whether you’re a nature professional or not, nature is a voice you can’t ignore any more. #nature #biodiversity #realestate #development #sustainability AECOM - Environmental Services #SustainableLegacies #ForNature Thank you, Team!
