Intel Corporation, Dell Technologies and Cisco laid off 30,000+ employees in August 😢 😭 🌟 Embracing the Magic of "Pay It Forward" 🌟 Reshare with your network to spread the message👇🏻 When 2 recruiters reached out to me about an exciting job opportunity, it struck me how amazing it would be if this opportunity could benefit not just me, but also folks in my network. So, I decided to refer folks in my network to this fantastic chance for growth and fulfillment 😎 ✌🏻 Why? Because I believe in the magic of paying it forward. I've been blessed with opportunities and support throughout my life, and it's an incredible feeling to extend that same helping hand to someone else. This act of referring folks isn't just about career advancement; it's about believing in the power of connections and the potential for positive change. It's about creating opportunities and opening doors for others, knowing their success can ripple outward, benefiting their families and communities. In a world where competition can sometimes overshadow collaboration, let's remember the profound impact we can have by simply looking out for one another. It's a reminder that our actions, big or small, can be the catalyst for someone else's dreams coming true. Let's be the reason someone believes in the goodness of humanity. Let's pay it forward, not because we expect anything in return, but because we understand the profound beauty of creating a world where kindness reigns supreme 💙 Have you ever done this?👇 Use our Job assistant platform to get your dream job today 🚀 ⚡️ Careerflow.ai: https://lnkd.in/drNZrQkX If you liked this content, ♻️ repost this and follow Nikita Gupta

After ~20 years at Intel, I have made the very difficult decision to move on to the next chapter in my career. I have been extremely fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with and learn from so many fantastic people over my time here (there are just too many to list). I wouldn’t have had the small modicum of success that I did have without the support from so many wonderful people. I will be forever be grateful for the many opportunities I’ve had to grow personally and professionally. I would be remiss if I didn’t share some of my key learnings from over the years: Think Big…Act Big - Have a vision for yourself and for the team’s you lead --> enables you to take risk. Don’t be afraid to ask for help - Be accountable for yourself, the success of your team and others - Easier to ask for forgiveness than permission…as long as your decisions/actions are made ethically with high integrity Nothing Free is ever Worthwhile - No one is ever going to just give you something for free that’s worthwhile…you have to earn it…whether it is a job, an assignment, or most importantly trust - Stretch yourself and others…don’t be afraid to fail - Be adaptable and never get too comfortable Get Involved & Give Back - Individual success comes from investing in other’s success - Focus on the positive in people vs. the negative…including yourself! It’ll do wonders for you and for those around you - Work should not suck all the time…have fun, find your passion at work and pursue it relentlessly

Back in 2019, I faced rejections from Google, Intel and Qualcomm 😓 I was making a big career switch, from ISRO to the tech industry but these rejections made me doubt my decision. Going back was not an option so I changed my strategy which eventually led to a great offer from Samsung. Here’s what I did differently: ➡️ Revisited core concepts in embedded systems. ➡️ Dedicated more time to solving coding problems, especially those related to real-world scenarios. ➡️ Customized my resume for each job application, highlighting relevant experience and skills. ➡️ Practiced mock interviews with friends and experts to get comfortable with the format and receive feedback. Apart from this, I also connected with people who had made similar transitions. Their insights helped me understand what top tech companies look for. Now you too can easily connect with such experts on Preplaced. You can get started now by booking a FREE session here: https://lnkd.in/gMG8STGx Their personalized advice will make a huge difference in your preparation strategy.
