Something funny has happened.
I find myself turning away many more clients than we onboard.
As we continue to grow (thank G-d), our existing clientele keeps coming back, and we obviously prioritize serving them first while striving to do it better and better.
We've also learned what type of client is a good fit for our model.
Our job of making great hires doesn't lie solely on us recruiters. When a company knows what role they need to fill, they know what they are looking for, how to hire, how to manage, and how to retain. We can do a good job of bringing GREAT people.
The best is when they know the process of working with other recruiters so they can see how special we are :)
Unfortunately, when they don't, the process becomes very challenging, and no one really wins.
We are grateful to be in a position where we can make smart choices and work with clients that are a good fit, and we're even more thankful for our amazing clients who keep coming back to us to hire more.
I guess we are doing a decent job if we have returning customers that are constantly growing! :)
