Dispute Resolutionist (Alternative Dispute Resolution) & Lecturer (Family Law) & Solicitor Advocate

We have about 20 spots left!!!! for the The Robes & Rosé CPD event hosted Lander & Rogers on Arbitration in Family Law, details as follows: Collette McFawn and The Four Horsemen of Arbitration 8 May 2024 at 5.30pm (for a 6pm start) Lander and Rogers Level 19/123 Pitt St, Sydney NSW 2000 RSVP by 1 May 2024   Collette McFawn will chair a panel with some of the best known Arbitrators in Sydney including Chris Othen of Waratah Chambers, Glenn Thompson OAM of Newnhams SolicitorsMaurice Edwards, Australian Institute of Family Law Arbitrators and Mediators (AIFLAM) NSW representative of Rafton Family Lawyers and Jeff Marhinin, partner of Barkus Doolan Winning as they take us step-by-step through starting, attending and completing an Arbitration; we will discuss how it works, where, when and how you can use Arbitration as well as the various forms of Arbitration. This is one of the most misunderstood areas of Family Law and ADR and one of the areas that we have all heard of as solicitors but that we all feel terribly ill-equipped and inexperienced to undertake. With the rise of ADR and the abundance of Arbitrators in Australia, Arbitration is bound to be one of the fastest growing forms of dispute resolution in Family Law over the next few years - this CPD is not to be missed (nor is the Spanish cheese or Italian wine or those really nice crackers that go with the cheese - you know those ones with the dried fruit inside?).   As we expect a very large turn-out to this event, please RSVP early to angelo@myraaris.com.au as seats will be limited.
