One more post for today. A couple of Contemporary/Modern elevation options for a builder I work with on a floor plan I designed. About 3300 s.f. living area. I know which one I prefer, the builder also has a preference. Which one do you prefer?

I just received a couple of photos of a barn I designed for a wonderful couple. I designed their new home back in 2021. The barn has 4 stalls, a tack room, a storage room, a horse wash area and a large storage area upstairs above the center aisle.

OK, we are out of refugee status and back in our home. power is back on. we had to leave for 2 days because of no a/c. serious shout out to all the power crews out there working their butt's off in this heat to get us back in power. THANK YOU, THANK YOU!

Office life before the invention of AutoCAD and other drafting software. Before the release of AutoCAD in 1982, engineering drawings were all done by hand using different-grade pencils, erasers, T-squares, and set squares. Even after all the manual labor, if a change was required, the engineers and toolmakers had to start from scratch and make the sketches all over again. Nowadays, architecture designers and other drafters are mainly just clicking their mouse and keyboard and not hunched over on a giant desk wondering if any changes will be made to their final drafts.

a note to all packing designers. you need to start paying attention to how easy it should be to open products. especially with an aging population. shame on every one of you. more focused on your job retention and justifications. some day you will need the extra assistance also. do some good for the world around you and be less selfish.
