No single sensor can detect, track, classify and neutralise drones 🛡️ It takes several, working in harmony to tackle the illusive drone and its unpredictable pilot. Only radar is capable of detecting everything within its broad range, the primary sensor that cues others within this specialised ecosystem. This is why we partner with experienced and knowledgeable system integrators. IRIS® is built to perform seamlessly within a system of systems. We put this to the test last year at the NATO Counter Unmanned Aircraft System Technical Interoperability Exercise (C-UAS TIE23). This event sets a challenge for industry leaders, ensuring high-tech solutions connect instantly and operate together consistently. UAS/Drones continue to become the norm around the world. As we all know, in order to maintain this growth, we must keep in mind that Safe integration is key. And knowing who the “good guys” are will make it easier to find the “bad guys.” This is why there is an ever-growing need for advanced detection and mitigation solutions against drone UAS/drone threats. If you or your agency is tasked to keep our skies safe and are looking to explore a 'soft kill' solution, here’s another way we can help. Sentrycs has partnered with High Lander in order to enhance airspace awareness and deploy counter-drone technology. This partnership shows the importance of addressing complex challenges we face as our modern solutions bring about new challenges. Did you know that drone swarms are groups of drones that work together in a coordinated manner to achieve a common goal? These swarms can be used for a variety of purposes, including search and rescue missions, surveillance, and even entertainment displays. By working together, drone swarms can cover larger areas, gather more data, and perform tasks more efficiently than individual drones. The use of drone swarms is becoming increasingly popular in both military and civilian applications. Check out this fascinating video to learn more about drone swarms: https://lnkd.in/g9Gbi7aP #Drones #Technology #Innovation #AI #Automation #FutureTech

I think we have all now seen the effects of FPV drones and their effectiveness in the Ukrainian/Russian conflict. C-UAS was the first mission I worked on in 2014, and a lot has changed since then. UAS are the future of modern warfare. Last week, Josh and OMNI Technologies demonstrated how we can detect and identify these drones using robust, edge-ready hardware and models that can be deployed on vehicles, larger drones, and across multiple echelons. Lets go Josh.

🔵 Pre-order now! How Drones Fight: How Small Drones are Revolutionizing Warfare 🛒 20% off RRP ➡ https://shorturl.at/szLO6 🟢 The war in Ukraine is the first to see large-scale use of small drones, a usage so effective that it has rendered large-scale maneuver warfare largely impossible. Despite the dramatic effect drones have already had on the battlefield, drone technology is still in its infancy—perhaps analogous with the stage of development that aircraft reached during World War I. Understanding what drones are currently capable of, how they operate, and how they may develop, is crucial for anyone with an interest in modern and future warfare. Taking into account technologies like AI, the book concludes with informed predictions into the further evolution of drones. #ukraine #drones #MilitaryDrones #wartechnology #warukraine

Robin Radar Systems can spot drones, there has been a storm there since the invasion of Ukraine The Dutch defense industry is flourishing due to international tensions. Since Robin Radar Systems' radar can detect drones as well as birds, Siete Hamminga's scale-up is going fast. 'Surprising to see how both the attitude of politicians and society has changed.' Robin Radar taught its software to distinguish birds from drones, for which it analyzes the flight path they take using the so-called micro-Doppler. 'If you look very closely, you can also see the traces left by its rotor blades in the drone's ultrasound image. We call a bird with a propeller a drone.' #radar #drones #doppler #airdefence MT/Sprout https://lnkd.in/euKTzqbt

More videos of the use of the Dragon Drones, which rain molten thermite down on enemy positions, are emerging. This map shows at least 10 confirmed cases of these weapons being used against the Russians. As you can see, the Dragon Drones were used all along the confrontation line and even in Kursk. This strongly suggests that Dragon Drones were supplied centrally, rather than being developed by a single unit and then gradually adopted. This indicates the increased centralisation and professionalisation of Ukrainian drone operations. https://lnkd.in/gkbk2icA #ukrainewar #osint #drones

Redefining Crisis Response with UTM - Airwayz’s Cutting-Edge Approach: Hot off the press! A must-read piece by our very own CEO, Eyal Zor, in the latest issue of Air Traffic Management Magazine. An insightful exploration of how Airwayz is revolutionizing emergency response with advanced Unmanned Traffic Management (UTM) system. "With the rise of drone operations, a synchronization between unmanned and manned traffic is critical in order to prevent accidents and efficiently manage a mixed environment. To support this, Unmanned Traffic Management (UTM) systems serve as the backbone for synchronizing multiple drones simultaneously, as well as integrating them seamlessly with manned aviation in complex airspace environments. This integration not only ensures the safe and efficient operation of drones but also strengthens the capabilities of first responders and authorities in managing emergency situations effectively." #Airwayz #AWZ #drones #DynamicUTM #UTM #AirTrafficManagement #EmergencyManagement #CrisisManagement Claudia Bacco 🔗 Catch the full article in the first comment 👇

9moToday, an AntiDrone system without a Radar is quite like a blind, so many technologies can allow the adversaries to fly in almost undetected, there are hundreds of videos where the FPVs can indeed be seen attacking the Air Defence systems.
