Hiring a recruiter for your small company? Think that hiring from an established company is a safe bet? Think again. Sure, seeing they’ve recruited for one of the big names (Meta, Amazon, Google, or even a well-know company in your community) sounds exciting. You want that level of access to candidates after all! Except…you know what those recruiters are used to having? Resources & name recognition. A ton of applicants for every job posting. Do you have the same benefits? You need someone scrappy who is energized by relentlessly attacking the market to find the best talent. Someone who isn’t used to sitting back and waiting for the candidates to come to them, but digs deep to uncover those hidden gems. Need help on your recruiter search? Reach out & we can set up a free consultation. #gorogue

NEW direct hire role for a Software Developer! This role is remote (with up to 2X/yr travel to their office in TX). Compensation range is $125-140K/yr with great benefits, including 100% paid for health, vision, & dental insurance for employees & dependents. Looking for an experienced full-stack developer (C#, JavaScript (Angular & Vue), & SQL). It's okay if you lean more in one direction, but you need to enjoy both front and back end development. Team is highly collaborative and looking for someone who has leadership experience (okay if informal) who can help drive accountability and improve the technical quality of their code. *Our job board isn't updated yet as we are changing systems, so please reach out to me directly for more information. My email is robin@roguerecruitment.com. ** Preference toward Oklahoma & Texas based candidates, but they do have a list of states they can hire from. Reach out and I can share the full list.

When the market is oversaturated with recruiter after recruiter, it's sometimes hard to know who to spend the time connecting with. For example, there's a lot of recruiters out there who claim to specialize in tech recruitment...who don't know the difference between Java and JavaScript. When I started recruiting back at the tender age of 21 in Dallas, I horrifyingly remember a conversation when I asked someone about their experience with My Squirrel (mySQL). Everyone has to start somewhere, right?! That was back in 2014...and I've learned a lot since then. Since I moved to Tulsa in 2015 (and then started Rogue Recruitment in 2018), I have dedicated myself to becoming *the* tech recruiter in Tulsa. Not only have I spent the last nine years specifically speaking and connecting with tech talent in Tulsa, we have a Technical Partner (Preston Schwartz) on our team who is on standby to answer any and all technical questions. #gorogue

You don't want to work with a recruiter who will do *whatever it takes* to close a deal/fill a job. Those recruiters will cut corners. They will withhold information - or flat out lie - to either the candidate, client, or both. The recruiter who will do *whatever it takes* to close the deal doesn't care about the long-term success of your team. Most importantly, they don't care about the impact it makes on the candidate who is making a major life decision. That recruiter will do *whatever it takes* to bring in a fee. I'm not so big headed that I think my team is the only option to offer the amount of care we put into the process. But, I do know we are not the norm. So, whether you work with us or another agency, please make sure you are supporting a recruiter who isn't only motivated by the paycheck, but by the relationships and bigger picture. Work with a recruiter who feels an immense responsibility to making sure it is actually the right fit, not just the good enough fit to get the paycheck. #gorogue

I can't tell you how many times someone says, "I've been following Rogue Recruitment, but just haven't reached out yet." Sound like you? This is your sign to reach out and see how we can help your team! What is our process like when you do work with us? Step 1: You tell us who you want. Step 2: We find who you want. Step 3: You hire who you want. "But, Robin," you might say, "that seems too simple!" Well, that's because it is. And how it should be. Reach out and #gorogue.
