"At a hackathon, every problem is an opportunity waiting to be hacked" 🖥 Participating in hackathons is always fun, exciting, and full of learning, especially when you have great teammates 🚀 Recently, our team won two hackathons: TechxNova Hacks and Data Hackfest by Major League Hacking. It was an incredible experience working with my awesome teammates, SHREYA JAGTAP and Lavina Tak. Our Project FemOvaAI: "Empowering Women Through Precision: Harnessing AI to Illuminate the Path to PCOS Awareness and Care" I have received many request to how to take part in hackathons?, how to find them? how to find a team? so I have conducted a session with my community on "How to Ace Hackathons" and you can watch here: https://lnkd.in/d6QtVBGM

The news right now can make you feel overwhelmed and powerless. The beauty of civic engagement is that empowers you to make the lives of your neighbors better. If you are looking for a way to put your coding skills (beginner through expert) to some good, please check out Code for Dayton. For the next couple of months, they will be working with the Dayton Energy Collaborative (DEC). The DEC (based on my understanding) provide a front door for several programs that provide households with funds for weatherization and improving energy efficiency. DEC provides a paper-based universal application for the various programs, as well as a screener questionaire. Our goal for January will be to work with DEC to build a web-based version of the screener. Based on the outcome of that project, we might pursue the universal application process. Hope to see you there next Tuesday Jan 16th. https://lnkd.in/gQygjW8q #GemcityTech #hackathon #civicengagement #CodeforDayton
