Attention: Construction Industries, Engineers and Architects. I will be discussing the booming Architectural Outsourcing. Citing the advantages and why you should apply this to your business. I will discuss all the reasons one by one per day, so please continue to follow me. Architectural Outsourcing is Booming in the Philippines and Here’s Why! If you’re in the architecture industry, you’ve probably heard about outsourcing. Outsourcing refers to hiring a third-party company or individual to handle specific tasks or projects rather than taking them in-house. In architecture, the use of Architectural Outsourcing is prevalent for tasks such as drafting, rendering, and 3D modeling functions. But have you heard about the trend of outsourcing architectural services to the Philippines? If not, you might be surprised to learn that the Philippines has become a significant hub for architectural outsourcing in recent years. In this blog post, we’ll delve into why architectural outsourcing is booming in the Philippines and how it can benefit your firm. No.2 Reason ========= The availability of skilled professionals In addition to the cost advantage, the Philippines is home to a large pool of highly skilled professionals in the architectural field. The country has one of the world’s highest numbers of architects per capita. This is partly because the Philippines has a well-established education system, with many universities offering architecture programs. As a result, a steady stream of highly educated and skilled professionals is entering the job market each year. But it’s not just the quantity of skilled professionals that makes the Philippines an attractive destination for architectural outsourcing – it’s also the quality. Many Filipino architects have received their education and training from top schools around the world, and they bring a wealth of experience and expertise to the table. Contract Architects...... 🧠 ❓ How would you feel about a contract being cut short due to the company hiring a permanent employee? ✍ I am seeing more evidence of companies offering 6 month contracts and cutting short after 2-3 months. Interesting to hear your perspectives on this or whether its just one of the common pitfalls of contracting. 💬 Comment below 👇 #contracting #earlytermination #technology #architecture #architect

Most Architectural professionals have their promotions dangled in front of them for months or even years like a carrot. You are not a Donkey. Imagine working somewhere that isn't hand to mouth on finances or resources for once. Everything is easier, less rushed, less stressful. Where there’s only good pressure to succeed. Forget being focussed on just surviving, or waiting for projects to land to employ, promote or resource yourself appropriately. Imagine a decent salary, a four figure bonus at least. How about working for a business where it’s actually financially worthwhile moving up the ladder. I've got Project Lead jobs where you can be based anywhere in the Midlands, and a Sector Lead job (Primary Care / Community Care type projects) where it's all on the table for you. Whether you're a Senior Architect, Associate or AD, it's worth sending me a DM asking for 'more info on the Midlands jobs'.

A&D Professionals: Many senior architects & designers are expanding their roles beyond design, exploring new opportunities in project management, development, and sustainability consulting. These paths offer exciting potential for career growth. 1. Project Management: Architects already have the skills to manage projects from start to finish. Stepping into a project management role allows you to lead teams, control budgets, and ensure your vision is realized—without stepping away from design completely. 2. Development: Interested in blending design with business strategy? In development, architects can be key players in balancing creative vision with investment realities. It’s a great option for those looking to influence projects from a more strategic angle. 3. Sustainability Consulting: As the demand for sustainable buildings grows, architects with expertise in green design are highly sought after. You can help clients achieve certifications like LEED or WELL while making a real impact on the environment. Exploring these roles can offer new challenges and growth. If you’re thinking about expanding your career beyond design, I’d be happy to chat about what that could look like. Where do you see your next move? * Decreased Pool of Experienced Architects These decisions generally involve a switch to a less hands-on role in the building industry and can sometimes still involve the employment of architects. Unfortunately, the more skilled architects are often lured into non-architecture roles within the building industry due to the perception of higher pay and lower stress in comparison to architectural practice. The domino effect is that the skilled architects who are now employed as consultants for property developers, project managers, etc., can potentially be drawn back into architecture to work on projects, but often at a much lower capacity and a higher salary, further exacerbating the depletion of skilled architects in higher management positions. Decisions made at middle and higher management positions can have ramifications on the future of the firm and may jeopardize the long-term stability of some firms. The decreased pool of experienced architects can have detrimental effects on the survival of smaller architectural firms as well. Young architects are no longer compelled to stay in architecture due to fears of job instability or a lack of job prospects in other career paths. This can be seen as a positive development in the broader context; however, the stigma of architecture being an unstable profession means that many young architects see it as a wise career move to accrue some industry experience and use that as a platform to work in related fields such as property development. The young architects of today are the experienced architects of tomorrow. As such, the decisions made by young architects to pursue a career outside of architecture will impact the inevitable depletion of the pool of experienced architects. When the generation of architects at middle and higher management positions is predominantly made up of architects who have changed career paths, the decision-making process in an architectural firm may be influenced by individuals who do not have a full understanding of the consequences of their decisions on architectural projects. The worsening problem concerning the drift of young architects away from the architecture career does not only bear consequences on an individual level, but also at a much larger scale that generates effects on the industry as a whole. One of the most significant impacts is the decreased pool of experienced architects that will be available in the future to take on middle and higher management positions.
