This is exciting! It reminds me of the research project I did previously on External Human Machine Interactions for autonomous trucks on public roads and confined space. See the different lights here as the video shows, I have many questions: What do they mean? What messages do they communicate to the people around? Will people understand what they mean? Are these the best ways to communicate? Do we need explicit communication to increase safety and efficiency? Are there standards and regulations on the interface of mobile robots that can communicate new messages not existing before? We will have a lot to research on if we want to create a new intuitive communication system with this type of intelligent agents! # external HMI
