Okibo developed a deep technology that allows the robots to capture the wall (and ceiling) geometry and plan the robots' motion in a fully autonomous process: 1️⃣ Surface recognition - NO prior digital information. Our ICRA paper has been accepted! I'm very happy to see our paper published. This was a fantastic team effort together with colleagues Kuckling, Vardy, Reina, Luckey, and Avrutin. title: Do We Run Large-scale Multi-robot Systems on the Edge? More Evidence for 2-Phase Performance in System Size Scaling Our new study shows that multi-robot systems have two performance phases: high efficiency and near failure. As swarm size increases, multi-robot systems can suddenly shift from optimal to minimal performance. Our findings highlight the delicate balance in scaling robot swarms for real-world applications.
