A: I grew up in Itauna, state of Minas Gerais, in Brazil. Q: What was your first job? A: My first job was as a consultant in a chemical engineering consulting company called Mult Jr in Brazil. Q: What is your background in and how do you think it prepared you for your new role? A: I have a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering and a Ph.D. in Chemical and Biological Engineering, with research focus on cancer therapeutics. I believe that my background will give me the means to connect with the scientists in the companies, making consulting effective. Q: Where was your last vacation? A: I went to Albuquerque, NM, for my last vacation. It’s a really cool place. I highly recommend the hikes and the hot air balloon rides. Q: Fun Fact about you?
