The building can accommodate six tenants, each with their own storefront entrance and 14x14-foot commercial overhead door. Our work included a load-bearing spread footing foundation system, site-cast concrete tilt-up and steel joist building frame system, as well as lighting, power distribution, and wet fire-sprinkler systems. We kicked off the week with a productive visit to RAND Engineering & Architecture, DPC in New York City. Their professional staff was engaged, insightful, showing keen interest in our Sika EMSEAL presentation of “Sealing Joints in the Building Envelope” especially as it relates to their focus on restoration, building envelope, and architectural design.
