Seeing this pattern over and over again: Consultants/agencies secretly sub-contracting their work at a fraction of the price. They sub-contract not because there is price arbitrage. But because they overpromised their clients and don't know how to do something that their clients want. And then they have the gall to say that you are overpriced. All this while trying to make a healthy markup on the secretly outsourced gig as well. Seeing this more with Pipedrive consulting gigs. Clients! Be careful who you hire to deliver your projects. At least choose the ones who transparently say that they don't know how to do certain things and that you may have to find someone else who knows better. There are many who are playing the middleman while adding absolutely zero value to the value chain. End of rant.

Spend 15 minutes pulling in everything you can find in your Drive for each of your clients. You might need to repeat this task every week for a few weeks to ensure you have all your client files neat and tidy. 💥Top Tip: I also recommend that you have two sub folders under each client. One is marked ‘Internal’; this is for your onboarding docs, notes, draft contracts etc. The other is marked ‘Shared Folder - Client Name’ and you then share the url link to this folder with your client. How I Helped a Client Generate 10 Five-Star Reviews in Just One Week Despite providing outstanding service, one of my clients struggled to showcase their excellence online Their reviews didn’t reflect the high quality of their work, leaving a gap between their online reputation and their actual service In just 7 days, I helped them generate 10 five-star reviews, all without spending a penny on ads Here’s how I helped them solve their problem.👇 The Problem Despite delivering excellent service for over a decade, the client struggled to get happy customers to leave reviews Reviews are crucial for building trust with new leads and improving Google search rankings However, even satisfied customers rarely leave reviews on their own Without a structured system in place, hoping customers will leave reviews isn’t a reliable strategy The Solution: Database Reactivation To address this challenge, I implemented a highly effective strategy known as "database reactivation" It’s a simple but it works Instead of waiting for new customers to leave reviews, we tapped into the client’s existing customer base, people who had already experienced their service and were likely to share their positive feedback. We crafted personalized emails and SMS messages, reaching out directly to these past customers with a friendly request for reviews The process We made sure to thank each customer for their business and then kindly asked for their feedback We also made the process incredibly easy Each message included a direct link to Google so customers didn’t have to search for the business online or figure out where to leave feedback One click, and they were on the review page—ready to share their experience This removed friction and increased the likelihood of them leaving a review. The Results Within ONE WEEK, the client received 10 five-star reviews. These reviews not only boosted their credibility but also had an immediate impact on their Google ranking, making them more visible to potential customers searching for services in their area More visibility means more potential leads, and more potential sales And it didn’t stop there Not only did we help our client get reviews in the short term, the system we put in place ensures they can consistently collect reviews and keep building their online reputation over time.
