Jon's Famous Analogy time: Ever notice how recruiters and plumbers are cut from the same cloth? You don’t think you need us until, well, you really do. Whether it's a burst pipe or a critical hiring need, when things get tough, you’ll wish we were on speed dial. When it comes to plumbing, you want someone reliable, fast, and trustworthy—someone who leaves you confident the job’s done right. Guess what? The same goes for recruiting. If your marketing, accounting, product, logistics, or finance teams are in growth mode, don’t wait until you're drowning. Call someone you trust to get the job done right, and let’s make sure your team is as solid as your plumbing. Definitely, give us a call. Jon@covertrecruiting.com #jontent

Global CHRO | Fractional HR | Transformational Leader | Advisor | Speaker | Board Member and C-Suite Advisor
We have decided to skip hiring plumbers and fix all our own plumbing issues. ...said no one, ever. Just like you call a plumber for their years of expertise and training to tackle the messy work you wouldn’t want to do yourself, you should trust an expert when it comes to recruiting. You don’t hire a plumber because you can’t plunge a toilet. You hire them because they have the skills to handle complex issues you simply can’t tackle alone. The same goes for external recruiters—you bring one on not because you can’t find candidates, but because you can’t find new candidates. As a seasoned HR professional with an extensive network and strong connections through my role with the Detroit LERA chapter, I have access to hidden talent pools that you probably didn’t know were there. It’s about going beyond the surface to discover the candidates who will bring real value to your business. You’ve invested a lot in building your business—now is the time to invest in staffing it with the right people. If you have open requisitions, let’s work together to uncover candidates you didn’t even know existed. Hiring can be more than just filling a seat; it can be an opportunity to transform your team. 🚀 Drop me a message with your open requisitions, and let’s start digging!

🚧 #Construction jobs are on the rise. Cities like Houston, Miami, and Fort Worth are among the top 10 markets with the most construction job gains over the past year. Yet, there are still cities, like Atlanta, facing labor shortages in this industry. 🏗️ Although they're still hiring, they're not getting the talent they need. "There really is a presumably dire need to bring craft workers in," Jodi Taylor, J.D., SHRM-SCP of Brasfield & Gorrie, LLC says. 👷 One way to respond is by introducing young people to the blue collar field, specifically 16- to 20-year olds. Another way- increased wages. Construction firms have already boosted pay faster than other sectors, averaging up 4.4% over the year! What are your thoughts? #Hiring #BlueCollar #ConstructionJobs #ConstructionNews #HiringNews
