Since day one, AWS has empowered startups to bring their innovative ideas to life by democratizing access to the technology used by some of the world's largest enterprises, including Amazon. Each year since 2020, we've provided nearly $1 billion in AWS Promotional Credits to startups. It's no surprise that 80% of the world's unicorns run on AWS. I've had the privilege of witnessing the growth of companies like Netflix, Wiz, and Airtasker during my time at AWS. I'm excited about the rapid adoption of generative AI by startups and how it's spawning a new generation of companies. A staggering 96% of AI/ML unicorns run on AWS. Today, we announced a $230 million commitment to accelerate generative AI startups globally. Alongside this investment, we're launching the second-annual AWS Generative AI Accelerator in partnership with NVIDIA, expanding to support 80 startups worldwide. Selected participants will receive up to $1 million in AWS Promotional Credits and access to technical mentorship, go-to-market support, and a network of experts from AWS, NVIDIA, Meta, and more. The future of generative AI is here, and AWS is thrilled to support startups in harnessing this transformative technology. Apply now and join the revolution! #AWS #Startups #GenerativeAI #Innovation https://lnkd.in/ddVyZxEi Swami Sivasubramanian Amazon Web Services (AWS)

ummary: A French startup, FlexAI, has raised €28.5 million in seed funding to create a cloud service for AI training. The company aims to simplify the complex process of accessing and managing computational resources for AI development. Key takeaways: FlexAI's founders have impressive backgrounds in engineering and AI development. The company's goal is to make AI compute infrastructure as easy to use as general purpose cloud services. FlexAI's cloud service will allow developers to access virtual heterogeneous compute across multiple architectures on a usage basis. Counter arguments: Some may argue that there are already existing AI compute solutions in the market, such as AWS, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure. There may be concerns about data privacy and security when using a cloud service for AI development. ummary: A French startup, FlexAI, has raised €28.5 million in seed funding to create a cloud service for AI training.
