Flying into the Future: Advanced Fighter Helmets Set to Revolutionise Eurofighter Cockpits [ https://lnkd.in/e9iswRt6 ] BAE Systems Striker® II helmet will revolutionise the trade space for british-produced air combat platforms, following the £133 million investment announced earlier last week. Centered around the Eurofighter Typhoon, this system will unlock a vast array of unseen capabilities for both the aircraft, and the pilot flying- in both situational awareness and weapon employment. As already seen on the American-made F35 Lighting II, this program utilises AR (Augmented Reality) to project all the crucial flight information directly onto the visor- removing the neccesity for physical flight instruments on the centre consoles.
