#Embracing_Challenges_and_Growth_in_My_Career_Journey When I joined GTN Enterprises Pvt Ltd, my reporting manager, CMA.Rajeesh E G, assigned me the task of preparing the financials during the second month of my career. As a fresher, I was initially afraid and my colleagues were amused by the challenging assignment given to me. As my career progressed, I found myself continually taking on a variety of responsibilities. While managing taxation, I was also tasked with audits, Ind AS and export provisioning. In another role, while handling unit finance, I was given the additional duties of HR and administration. Despite the overwhelming nature of these assignments, I viewed each task as an opportunity to learn and grow. During that time, many around me criticised me, saying that I was burdened with numerous tasks because I was afraid to say no. However, as I grew in my career, I realised that my seniors recognised my potential and were intentionally giving me more responsibilities to mold me into a competent management accountant. Today, I have learned to handle multiple tasks efficiently and have developed the ability to manage my workload effectively. I understand now that these experiences were not meant to overwhelm me but to prepare me for greater challenges and opportunities. Looking back, I am grateful for every task and responsibility that came my way. They have shaped me into the professional I am today, equipped with the skills and confidence to tackle any challenge. Now, I have many alternatives and approaches rather than just doubting the way how things are to be done. Embrace every challenge and view it as a stepping stone towards your growth. I am quite Inactive😁 on Linked due to my Initial days in Articleship 😌but Now when everything is going smoothly, I would Like to share some Insights for those who are Preparing for CA Inters that will help them after joining Midsize Articleship firm : 📌 Knowledge of Chapters like ITC, Supply, E-Invoicing and Eway bill are frequently Used in Vouching. 📌In Income Tax, Knowledge of Chapters like Deductions, TDS, TCS, and Basic knowledge of all the Heads. 📌Basics of SAs can be helpful. Although retaining each of SAs is not possible, We must try to retain the Concept behind each SAs. 📌Developing Skills on Excel, MS word and Tally ERP will help you in Adapting the Articleship firm's pace easily. 📌Also, Apart from this, keep a track on Stock Market and Start Invest after analysing company's performance. It can be an interesting career option. Otherwise SIPs are the safest Option without any deep knowledge. I regret for not putting much effort in GST and Income Tax when I was preparing for my CA Inters. You have an insight Guys 😊😊. Try not to Ignore these topics.

When I joined the MNC for my first Job after clearing the CA , the first six months is tough just because I was new to the corporate world. Also, It takes time to learn new things in our work areas. But after six months all went smoothly. From CFO to my colleague I can have a good talk with anyone without any fear of testing my knowledge. The same thing happened to me when I started my practice. I didn't know the GST Aspects , didn't know much about different audit procedures and corporate compliances. As I was in a job I didn't get much exposure to every practice related field. At first, I thought that practice would be tough due to the constraint of work experience but it didn't happen. All things are going very well and smoothly. It's just about giving time to everything. Many of you might be in this position and you are unable to take up the decision regarding your career due to less work experience or any other things. Let me remind you that , As a Chartered Accountant you don't need to think much about this because as soon as you are ready to give time to those things, it will come up smoothly to you. Unless and until you are not ready to work, you didn't get the work experience. Let's start to get the work experiences instead of delaying the same. 𝗜𝘁 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀𝗻'𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿. While you may have some partiality against you, however in the long run, it wont even matter. • CA with 5 attempts is still a CA. • CA with 5 attempts is still qualified • CA with persistence has real-world resilience. • CA with multiple attempts has proven perseverance. Dont rule them out. They can be your biggest support systems. #CA #Attempts

last Thursday I received an HR call from one of the Indian giants IT service consultant company. 1.He asked me " What is your highest qualification", I said CA inter, he replied to me that as per their inter policy, CA inter is not considered as UG. 2. What is total years of experience, I said 11 years including articles. He replied to me, As per company policy, Articles are not JOB, it is training l. Dear Indian HRs, Bring a bunch of bank statements and Voucher and what data you have of business, provided to a 3rd year article student and same data provide to B.com and MBA guy. then decide, who are most qualified persons. So, Here my point is, As per ICAI rules we are doing articles for three years. That means, we are not learning all three years. We are giving back to first year learning to my firm from second and third year with Quality of work in most professional way. We failed to clear CA final, that doesn't mean we failed in all subjects, we failed to achieve Aggregate.

Talking about the domains, a CA candidate would usually choose to go into will be either Audit , Finance or Taxation. It's imprinted in his/ her mind that there's no world outside these few domains. But today I would like to put spotlight on the rarest talked about domain i.e.FDD. "FINANCIAL DUE DILIGENCE". Remember the chapter we all use to study in audit. It's just not a chapter to score marks but completely a different ballgame altogether. To give the percipient of it, I had the privilege to get connected with CA Yashvardhan Goyal (AIR 7). He guided so well for this domain covering all the points as follows:- 1. Career trajectory 2. hierarchical exposure 3. Skills requirements 4. CV preparation technicalities 5. Important key terms 6.
