Prices of energy going up again. People only seem to care when it actually comes into effect. Any decent Solar Company saw this coming all year. More and more people are enquiring for Solar than we've seen. The frame is different though: Summer: - "All this sunlight could be saving you thousands" Autumn: - "Prices are about to go up, we need to get you prepped" Winter: - "Prices are so high, lets mitigate that cost" Spring: - "Lets start getting this implemented so you can capture the summer sunlight" Maybe this is more tailored to residential solar as its a short term mindset. We've seen this work well with SME's Directors too. Do you tailor your pitch to the season?
Obviously slightly different industry for myself but as you can imagine there is common crossovers. On top of energy prices, the big shifter for us is the clocks going back and people suddenly remembering the need for light. The issue that arises from prospective customers looking at it after the clocks going back is that the weather is far from ideal for install and can result in delays due to things outside of our control.
