I tend to make things too complicated, especially in areas that I know a lot about. Any #agencygrowth question I get could send me down a rabbit hole of "It depends..." because I can see a lot of angles. But here is a way to simplify your thinking. Your #agency basically has 3 buckets: - Sales & Marketing - Delivery - Admin They each hold MOST of whatever issue you are working on. When you are thinking about #growth or #profits or #revenue or whatever...start thinking about where the problem LIKELY is... If you are having #revenuegrowth issues, you should probably start in Sales & Marketing. Retention is probably in Delivery. Profits are probably in Admin. The biggest chunk of any issue are in the most obvious bucket. (Yeah - there may be some hiding somewhere else, but fixing everything you can in the primary bucket makes it easy to find the other pieces that might be hiding somewhere else.) Make things easy on yourself and attack problems where they live.
