Spanning 400 feet above the South Fork of the American River, the Mosquito Road Bridge in El Dorado County, California, is an ambitious bridge engineering and construction feat. This 1,200-foot-long balanced cantilevered segmental structure will support both everyday traffic to the local Swansboro community and emergency response to the wildfire-prone region. Our team is the prime consultant for the bridge design, which must balance safety, access, and environmental stewardship within this steep, sensitive canyon ecosystem.
