Managing stakeholders is like herding cats - they tend to willfully head off in different directions. Yet to successfully implement a strategy, getting most stakeholders to accept the intended direction is usually essential. That makes stakeholder management a key strategic leadership capability. But it's not only about getting stakeholders on board AFTER the strategy has been determined. I would say, in general 1 field of interest versus multiple fields of interests.
