Meet John Gregory, the owner of Roof Maxx of Schenectady, NY. With over 20 years of experience in direct sales, John’s career has been defined by knocking on doors and managing sales teams. In 2001, he channeled his expertise into launching a vacuum cleaner repair and sales business in Albany, NY. By 2010, John and his son, Josh, expanded their operations with a second location in Queensbury, NY, solidifying their family-run enterprise. 💪 John first encountered Roof Maxx as a customer. After filling out a form to assess his 7,000 sq. ft., 20-year-old roof for treatment, he learned there was no dealer in his area. That realization sparked his interest, and after extensive research, John decided to take a leap—despite his fear of heights—and bring Roof Maxx to his community. In their first season, John and Josh found success, seamlessly integrating Roof Maxx into their existing business model. They didn’t stop there—adding a roof washing service and even a second spray truck to meet growing demand.
