Some commercial cleaning companies will tell you that working without a contract is better for you. They’ll make it seem like they’re sacrificing their own security to earn your trust over time. But you need to ask yourself: 𝗪𝗵𝗼 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗯𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗳𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗮 𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗼𝗳 𝗮 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁? You or your cleaners? Without a contract, you’re left wide open. There’s no clarity about what’s being done, no accountability for results, and no way to hold them responsible when things go wrong. Without specifics in writing, “we’ll take care of it” can mean anything—or nothing at all. Now, let’s talk about what a cleaning contract does for you. An honest contract isn't there to lock you in. A contract is designed to protect your business in the following ways: ✅ 𝗡𝗼 𝗵𝗶𝗱𝗱𝗲𝗻 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗲𝘀 You know exactly what you’re paying for. There’s no ambiguity about services, costs, or additional charges. ✅ 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗱𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗹 From the frequency of tasks to the standards of cleanliness, a contract spells it all out. Everyone knows what’s expected, and nothing gets missed. ✅ 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗸 If something goes wrong, the contract gives you the ability to address the issue properly.
