"Get things done" but design never ends. ( Get design documents done!?). In my industry ( Architecture, Construction ), one of the most common saying is "Design never ends" which is understandable but sometimes it is wrongly interpreted as Incomplete design documentation. During the design process, mostly multiple iterations for one design project is provided in every design stage to meet the standards, to fulfill demands of the client & the market, to give a solution and to provide a design value. This process mostly consume much more time ( mostly more than anticipated). Due to Financing mechanisms, changing price of Construction materials, changing market demands, and many project specific variables, mostly projects intended to be started as quickly as possible, in other words very tight deadlines for design documentation. Since design process takes much more time than anticipated, short period of time (mostly less than needed time) is allocated for preparation of Construction documents. Due to this, design documents miss details & drawings, contains incomplete design decisions ,lack of precise integration of architectural, structural, electrical, sanitary and mechanical designs. These significantly hinder the Speed of the construction, compromise a workmanship, sometimes a reason for dispute among stakeholders and significantly increase the cost of the project.
