With football season kicking off this week, we decided to dive into the social media stats of our local Colts mascot, Blue! 🏈 Blue's Instagram following grew 58.71 times more than the Benny The Bull, which gained 3,021 followers over the last three months. Since June 1st: - Blue's Instagram followers increased by 69.4% (177,363 new followers). Of the 108 posts shared, the reel on July 4th was the most popular, receiving 1.14 million likes and 7,788 comments. - On Twitter, their following grew by 1.3% (703 new followers) while sharing 91 tweets. Their tweet on June 5th was seen 301.5 thousand times and received 21 comments, 284 retweets and 2,000 likes. - On TikTok, their followers rose by 1.3% (100,000 new followers) as they shared 92 videos, leading to a 1.8% increase in total likes (1.8 million). Their video from August 12th has 11.1 million views, 164.7 thousand likes, 529 comments and 5,796 saves.

Do not mishear me -- followers are GREAT. I will never say no to more (real) followers. But every month and for every client account, we reach at least 30% more than our follower count. If you know how to run your business social media and you stay consistent, you'll be reaching new followers ALL THE TIME. And they may buy from you or request pricing/service info, but still not follow you. And that's ok. We are all about the business of making money -- not getting followers or going viral.
