In June 2021, to mark California's reopening, we hosted "REBIRTH," a dynamic industry event that spanned all 50,000 square feet of Ciel Creative Space. Our mission was clear: reunite the community after over a year of isolation. A major focus of REBIRTH was supporting local businesses that had suffered tremendous losses during the shelter-in-place orders. Partnering with a local, woman-of-color-owned event agency, Make it Mariko, we brought together dozens of local businesses, artists, caterers, musicians, and more to breathe life back into the space. Ready to host your next event in our space? Book here: https://lnkd.in/gkRhK4Pc

Q: "Why did you name Next Gen Men's first conference the Momentum Summit?" A: In the work of 'engaging men and boys' – so many conversations are framed around STARTING to engage and the NEED to do so. This makes it feel like this work isn't already happening and there aren't wins to celebrate, but it is and there are. It's happening in all of our conference themes: - Engaging Boys and Young Men as Stakeholders and Allies - Men's Mental Health as an Entry Point - Psychological Safety Among Men at Work - Engaging Men in Accountability and Transformation - Navigating Pushback in Male Engagement Efforts - Fathering the Future of Masculinity - Managing for Multiple Masculinities We're not at a stop, or a start. This work is already rolling. What this summit is about, is building MOMENTUM. 🎟️ Early bird registration (save $100!) is open til July 23rd!
