In the bustling world of startups and growth businesses, we talk a lot about capital, talent, and technology. Quick update on recent downtime: For 6 years people like admins, members, as well as other community supporters have been pouring our hearts into building this amazing community, we needed some time to stabilize our own lives. After completing our community play book it was time for many of us to go our own way as we had completed our initial mission. That was to understand how to 1. Build a community around an idea and grow that 2. Launching startups without the need of raising investor money 3. Key Highlights: Thanks to our Smart Founders project, we've been supporting numerous entrepreneurs and have paying clients. We are also launching a new product for investors currently. What's Next: Exciting projects, collaborations, and more are in the pipeline as we continue our mission to foster innovation and support founders. Building something from scratch can be a life-changing experience, and for this father and husband, it certainly was. "Building this changed my life," and I'm not exaggerating. Everything went up from there! Money, Fun, Friends, Service, Safety. Everything! This project didn't just help me personally, it also paved the way for an incredible professional accomplishment. This weekend I had the privilege of attending the Founders retreat, an event that brought together some of the most innovative and irreverent thinkers in a diverse swath of industries. David Senra opened the weekend by sharing valuable lessons from legendary investor Sam Zell. Right after the session, I filmed a quick video to record my key takeaway: Optimize for freedom, particularly control over your time. In a world full of distractions and demands, the ability to control your time is what creates the space you need to fulfill your purpose. Here are a few more lessons that resonated with me: 1. Be obsessively focused on mastering your craft—knowledge is power, and the right information is priceless. 2. You have a responsibility to share what you've learned—mentorship and paying it forward are crucial to community success. 3. Take advice into account, but ultimately choose your own path based on fundamental principles. 4. Be a professional opportunist–have a clear and defined goal, but be flexible and open on the path you take to get there. These ideas were a great reminder for me to make thoughtful decisions and align actions with purpose. I'm curious: What's your perspective on managing time and shaping your professional journey?
