Happy Canada Day Eh! 💖 As Canada Day, rolls around, I find myself reflecting on what this day means to us. It’s not just a moment to honor our values of inclusion, resilience and working together, as well as a time for reflection, and gratitude. 💖 Some fun facts about Canada ✨Unlike many countries, our celebration isn’t about a war, but a peaceful request to Queen Victoria by the Upper & Lower colonies of Canada to form our own nation. ✨The second largest country in the world. ✨One of the longest highways in the world and the longest coastline is in Canada. ✨Basketball was invented by a Canadian. ✨We have more lakes than any other country. ✨Canada is famous for Niagara Falls, Banff, and the Northern Lights. ✨We’re a major producer of maple syrup. ✨Poutine originated in Quebec. ✨Canadians are known for tolerance, sensitivity, political correctness, being polite, saying ‘sorry’ & ‘eh’ ✨The beaver is Canada’s national animal. ✨Our border with the US is the longest unprotected border in the world. ✨Often known for its cold winters. Coldest recorded temp: -63 degrees C ✨Famous Canadians: Michael J. Fox, William Shatner, Martin Short, Jim Carrey, Celine Dion, and more, plus ‘The Rick Mercer Report’ is a must watch for Canadian satire. As in most countries, it wasn’t all glory. It’s also important to acknowledge and remember the difficult times as stepping stones towards reconciliation and a brighter future. 💖 On this Canada Day, let’s cherish our opportunities and freedoms we enjoy daily and be truly grateful for these, and grateful for being a good neighbor to the US. 🚀 Today, I’d love to hear your favorite Canada memories and what you’re grateful for in your country. Happy Canada Day! 🎯 Every day holds a seed of transformation; life is evolution and resilience in the face of challenge I’m Luann: Liked this post? I don’t usually post personal things on LinkedIn, but today, as I celebrate Canada Day, I find myself reflecting on this incredible country’s past, present, and future, as well as my family’s place in it. Not many people know this, but I was not born in Canada. My parents immigrated to Canada when I was young, and I watched them make countless sacrifices and work long hours in odd jobs just to get our family by. They did this because they believed in the Canadian dream. I am a living embodiment of that dream. The level of social mobility I have experienced within my relatively short lifetime would have been impossible anywhere else. Regardless of whether someone immigrated 20 years ago or 200, the dream has always been the same. For millions of people, both in-country and abroad, Canada is a beacon of hope—hope for a just and free society, and hope that no matter who you are and where you come from, a better future is possible. I recognize that Canada is not perfect. Like many countries, it has a complex history full of injustice and tragedy. However, we, as a society, have recognized these mistakes and are actively working to do better. Canada has made tremendous progress, and that is the true hallmark of any great nation. I love Canada, but I am also concerned for its future. The freedom and democracy we often take for granted were hard-fought and, if not protected, can easily be lost. The Canadian dream is becoming increasingly out of reach. The values and unity that made this country great are slowly eroding. Nevertheless, like my parents, and generations of Canadians before them, I have hope that a better future is possible. With that, I would like to wish my network a joyful Canada Day and a happy birthday to the greatest country in the world!

🍁🌰🍂 Hello, October! 🍁🌰🍂 There are only a few months left until the end of the year, and you might still be in the same comfort zone, waiting for the right moment. But remember – that "right moment" won’t come on its own. Readiness isn’t a feeling, it’s a decision! 💪🍀 A decision to move forward, to take responsibility for your dreams, and to leave excuses behind. Time is passing, and every day is an opportunity to take a step closer to your goal. So, don’t wait for tomorrow. Make the decision today. Take action and show yourself how much you can achieve when you decide to stop waiting. 📊✅️ October is your month – time for action! ❤️🌝🚀 #portugal #switzerland #fyppppppppppppppppppppppp #bosniaandherzegovina #marketing #mami #NewBeginning #slowenien #europe #networking #opportunity #chogan #perfume #homeoffice #change #mami

Canada Day is a national holiday celebrating the country's independence from Great Britain in 1867. The new nation, still loyal to Great Britain, was called the Dominion of Canada and consisted of only four provinces ((Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Ontario, and Quebec). Now, there are 10 provinces and 3 territories. Thought I would share some fun facts. • Canada is the second-largest country in the world. • One of the longest highways in the world is in Canada. • Churchill, Manitoba, is the "Polar Bear Capital of the World." • Canada crosses six time zones. • Canada has the longest coastline of any country. • Canada is the world's largest producer of maple syrup. • Canadian national sports are Lacrosse and Hockey • The name "Canada" has indigenous roots. It comes from the word kanata, meaning "village" or "settlement • The beaver is Canada's national animal. Canada is rich in wildlife like grizzly bears, moose, cougars, elk & black bears • The telephone & basketball was invented in Canada. Wishing you all a Happy Canada day from Anjuna Airlines Solutions.
